Ben Bonkoske is writer from the midwest. He is the author of two novels, Spoon in Road, and Carolina, Colorado, California. He is also the author two collections of short stories titled Ten Zen by Ben, and Eleven Stories for 11:11. He was freshman class president of Evanston Township High School, but was impeached for coming to school stoned. He wrote his own major at University of North Carolina, Asheville focusing on Racial Tension in America. While in college, he walked from North Carolina to New York City along the Appalachian Trail. The following year, in 2018, he bicycled across much of America, and hitchhiked through the other portions. He attended Northeastern, Illinois University where he earned a Masters of Arts in Secondary Education. He enjoys dancing, songwriting, and watching the seasons change. He lives in Chicago.
